Falling Gently – Baby Wipe Technique Video

It's the time of year for lots of Swap Cards. We demonstrators like to share ideas with each other, and one of the ways we do that is by swapping! We each make a bunch of cards (generally they are all the same) and we trade them with each other (or swap them) so that we have lots of different ideas to show customers! This is a Fall Swap I joined and I am so pleased with how it turned out! I used the Gently Falling Stamp Set and the Baby Wipe Technique. I've included a video below for those of you who have never done this technique before. it is easy and so nice!!! I just love fall colours!

I forgot to say in the video that the Green Reinker I used is Garden Green.
Let me know what you think!

Tonight i got to go to my upline's meeting! It was so fabulous to go to someone else's event where I just showed up and she had everything cut and ready for us! I LOVE holding events and meetings for my fantastic customers and downline, but going to someone else's event reminded me of just how fun it is to take an evening to spend time with others who LOVE to stamp too and just enjoy making fun projects! We made the adorable Halloween Treat holders using Googly Ghouls and part of the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit. The kits are just so cute – we used and embossing folder (Chevron) with versamark (directly on the plastic) and then heat embossed with black embossing powder – the result is so fun! The small treat holders are made used with the Two Tag Die and the cylinder on the left is a package of Mentos wrapped with DSP and embellished with our Striped Satin Ribbon and the cute spider. EASY and so cute!
If you want to join my team of SparkleDaisy Stampers so you can come to these fun events too – let me know! The August special has been extended until Sept 16 – so if you sign up before then you still qualify for the Halloween Printer Tray project Kit!! Email me for more info!

Stampers Technique Club will be starting again in September! They happen on the first Tuesday of the month and we will be doing 3 projects each night. If you decide to join, you join from Sept until June and we meet once a month at my house. Each participant orders $30 in product (whatever you would like!) and everyone gets a turn getting the hostess benefitls! So that means FREE stuff, when it is your turn and every meeting you will learn something new for sure! I have a limited number of spaces available, so if you are intersted let me know as soon as you can! These technique nights are a fabulous way to learn new things, budget your stamping money over time and still get FREE PRODUCTS! Most importantly you get an evening out with fun ladies!
In September we will be doing the Shaving Cream Technique and a Magic Card (plus one surprise!). The shaving cream card pictured here was made by my friend and downline Amanda Kovacs and we'll be making this very card in Sept!

If you would like to see how this technqiue is done, you can check out my very first video I ever did! Click HERE to see it!
Fall Wedding Card
September has been the season of weddings for us. We have been invited to two weddings these last two weekends and both have been lovely! Being at a wedding always reminds me of our own wedding (which is a nice reminder!). How nice it is to see two people in love that choose to spend the rest of their lives together!
One of the weddings was a fall theme and I helped the bride make her invites. We used a maple leaf stamp for her invites and when I saw the French Foliage stamp set in the Holiday Mini, I wanted to use it for their wedding card. I used the crochet trim and an antique brad and I sponged around the edges of the designer paper from the Holiday Mini. Simple and appropriate for this wonderful event!
