Easter Projects on CTV Morning

This morning I had the opportunity to go to CTV Morning Ottawa and showcase some Easter projects! It is always fun to do these and I love some of these fabulous Easter projects. I'll post some of them more closely for you in the next few days. For now, check out my segment with Liane Lang and let me know what you think!
Everyday Elegance Frames
I have my directs meeting tonight. That means that anyone that has signed up to be a demonstrator directly under me was invited to come and join me tonight for some chatting and of course STAMPING! I have some really fun projects planned and I hope they LOVE them as much as I do. Below are two frames that I covered with our SAB Designer Paper Everyday Elegance. I also used the Blossom Punch from the mini and then put the punched out flowers through an Textured Impressions Embossing folder!! LOVE IT! I stuck the paper to the wooden frame with Mod Podge. SImple, gorgeous AND useful. Now to find some photos to put in them!

How awesome is Sale-A-Bration!!!

How awesome is Sale-A-Bration this year!!! Well, that's obviously not a real question – I am love, love, LOVING the SAB products this year and when I saw a card made by Dawn Olchefske, I immediately wanted to case it. I just switched up the colours and wanted to use the SAB Designer Paper Everyday Enchantement, and I wanted to use the SAB ribbon and the stamp set Sprinkled Expressions from the SAB catalogue. I thought it would be perfect to send my top 20 sales people in my SparkleDaisy Stamper group for the month of Jan. When I finished them all I just took a moment and thought WOW – I love how simple this card is and I LOVE the colours (Lucky Limeade and Pool Party). And I realized that it uses SO MANY SAB products! The Postage Stamp punch is just perfect for this and makes the card so so easy.

We will be doing a similar card at my Basic and Beautiful class on Wed Feb 29 at 10:00 and 7:00. Let me know if you would like me to hold a spot for you!
ps – I am finishing up this post on the train to visit my daughter in the big city – isn't technology great!?!
Valentine’s for the Men in my life

I just thought I would share the valentines I made for the two men in my life – My fabulous hubby and my wonderful son. The card above is for my hubby and I used our new Heart Framelit dies in the Occasions mini to cut out the hearts on the Red Sparkle Paper. I even decorated the inside of the card which I don't always do, but I love that extra touch!

The next card is the one I made for my 13 year old rock star. I have used the Grunge Rock set for him a few times – I love it and it is so appropriate. I can't get too lovey-dovey with his card even though it is Valentines, so I thought this was perfect for him.

I want to share this quote by Mother Theresa with you. It is so lovely, especially for Valentine's Day. "Spread your love everywhere you go".
Wishing you lots of love today and always!
Spring Fever Simply Scrappin’ Kit
At the Sale-A-Bration Smackdown this weekend, we used the Spring Fever Kit for some of the make and takes. We made a card holder and several coordinating cards. They are simple but easy and quick for those times you just want to be efficient with your time. Here is the cardholder we did. The flowers on the front are from the kit, and we used the pear pizzaz seam binding and the lucky limeade SAB ribbon (you can earn 2 kinds of ribbon and a pack of brads for FREE when you order $60 in merchandise during SAB). We added the hat pin from the Occasions mini for an extra touch. Notice that the edge of the box flap has that lovely pattern? We used the new edgelit die Adorning Elements also from the Occasions mini.

Here is the side view:

I am including the link where I got the tutorial HERE. I love this idea and it can be used with all sorts of different colours and designer papers for different looks.

This is the scrap page we did
I have pictures of my nieces and nephew in mind for this layout – they always have such great smiles and when they are happy, they are REALLY happy lol.
I'll post more photos from the Smackdown later in the week.
