In the last week I have stamped twice!! Not so long ago, that wouldn't have been a big deal, but these days it is a miracle. We are finally moved into our new house and renos are mostly complete. There is more to do, but I think it will be that way for a while. We are settling into routines and enjoying our home. So this week, my niece and my son both have birthdays and I actually made room to stamp. It was SO NICE!!! I do have a little room for my stamping – it is only small but I am so happy to have it. It is still a complete mess and I need more shelving and another table, but I am thrilled to bits to have it. I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it all organized for me, but I guess that is just a tad unrealistic. In the meantime, if you have any tips for organizing, please leave them in the blog comments. I'm really wondering what to do with my punches.
The card above is for my son who has been soaking up every possible musical instrument he can put his hands on. The word window punch is so versatile! The card below is also for my son and was made by his sister. He is going to be starting Upright Bass lessons next week – I love her drawing on the card – fun.
I have updated my personal blog with a post about my son's birthday. Check it out over there if you feel like having a look.
In the middle of all the moving crazy, I had forgotten how nice it is to stamp. LOVE it!
Since we are moving in July I have forbidden myself from buying anything right now since I will just have to pack it. But I just couldn’t resist these few items anyway… Did you know you can now order a magnetic plate for your Big Shot? It keeps your framelits in place!! So cool!! And you know I love coffee!

My friend's daughter is getting married in the fall and my friend is planning the shower! She is looking for simple invitations so I offered to make them for her. I love the new stamp set Rain or Shine in the Spring Catalogue and I am also using the Cloudy Day Embossing folder. To give a simple pop of colour I am using the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper from the main catalogue -I LOVE that paper!! So these are my first drafts to show her tomorrow – I hope she likes them.
This is one of the birthday cards we will be making at the Stamp-a-Stack tonight, Tuesday Feb 18. I have 2 spaces left if you want to join us! Email me at email@example.com to confirm your spot. We are making 12 cards – 3 each of 4 designs. The class is FREE with a $45 order or a $30 fee. Hope to see you there!
