Two Step Owl Punch

Isn't the new Two Step Owl punch (118074) ADORABLE?!!! How cute are these owls – and you can use them in so many different ways. I got this card idea from Gloria L – One of our SparkleDaisy stampers at our last get together and I just fell in LOVE! So I made my own version and it was one of the cards that we did at our August Basic and Beautiful Class. My Basic and Beautiful Class is held on the last Wed of each month and you get to make 6 cards for $15 or it is FREE with a $25 order. We make a variety of cards to cover all sorts of occasions… Everyone is welcome to attend! You should come to my next one!
Kick Off Make and Takes – Love Birds Simply Scrappin’ Kit!
Our New Catalogue Kick off was this past weekend and it was a resounding success! This was the first time I have organized this type of event for Demonstrators and customers, but I will definitely be doing it again on Oct 23 for Holiday Hoopla – and you definitely won't want to miss it! The highlight of these events is that we get to see lots of demonstrators showcase different products, techniques and samples. We are benefiting from everyone's enthusiasm and experience and mostly it was just a fun day. We did 6 make and takes using the Love Birds Simply Scrappin' kit, watched two demonstrations on punches and our new fabric (coming in the Holiday Mini starting Sept 1) and had an hour's worth of Demonstrator Theatre which is my favourite thing to do! You go from booth to booth and get to see various techniques or products that demonstrators are showcasing! Wow – such talent and so much great information.
I showed you one of the make and takes last week, so here are the remaining projects we did. This card below uses our new paper daisies that we stamped on! The candy wrapper is done with a new Big Shot die in the Holiday Mini.

Below is a folder done with the Play Date folders in the catalogue and all the papers and images from the Love Birds Kit.

See this oh so cute envelope card? So many thanks go to Ronda Wade for helping me with the make and takes for this event! She is an awesome trainer and so generous with her time and knowledge -THANKS RONDA! Do you see how cute that owl is? It's from the two Step Owl punch in the catalogue. GOREGOUS!

Lastly is this cute Recycling Card. It uses several pieces of paper inside the card in our 3×3 envelopes. You can write a note to your friend and then she can keep your note and still pass along the card to someone else later! What a great idea!

Love Birds Scrappin’ Kit

Check out this cute card we are doing on Saturday at our New Catalogue Kick Off event! It uses the designer paper and other accessories from the Love Birds Scrappin' Kit. This kit is just adorable and great for all sorts of projects. This is only one project of 6 we'll be making. It is a fun event for demonstrators and customers and we'll be seeing great demonstrations, having lunch, making our fun projects and generally having a great day! If you're not coming – maybe you can come to the next one in Oct
More details on that later!
Awash with Flowers in Poppy Parade

Sometimes I just love to stamp simple, beautiful cards…. This is a perfect example using Awash with Flowers. The colours are all new this year…. Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz. Such a sunny combination bound to brighten someone's day….and I'll be sure to stamp the envelope too. I added just a touch of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter using my 2Way glue pen and Voila! Just simply perfect! I've also used a few of my Go-To items…. the scallop oval punch, large oval punch and the Oval All stamp set. And easy and great way to add your sentiment to a card or tag!
Below is basically the same card (can YOU spot the differences? lol!) but I used the rhinestones instead of glitter. While I am really loving the rhinestones, in this case, the glitter was better in my opinion!

SparkleDaisy Fun
Last week the SparkleDaisies got together, as we do monthly, to share ideas and stamp together! We meet at my house and it is always great to hear what others are doing and see fun new stamping projects. I thought I would share with you just a little of what we did. I finally got around to making name tags – Thanks to Amanda for helping me get them done. We used the Elegant Bouquet Embossing folders for the Big Shot and then Sponged Pink Pirouette Ink over the embossed daisies. The new rhinestones are PERFECT for some bling and then the Scallop Oval Punch and Large Oval punch make a perfect place to put the names. These would make adorable tags for gifts too!

Deb brought this great make and take using bleach to stamp with and the stamp set Just Believe (Clear – 120453). We did the card sample that is shown in the Idea Book and Catalogue on page 109. The IB&C is a great source of stamping inspiration anytime you are looking for ideas!

See this cute little treat holder that Kathleen B made? We used the top note Big Shot Die and the new Greenhouse Gala Designer Paper. LOVE THIS!

At our Stamptogethers, we always have a Share Table, where people bring their projects they have been working on to show everyone. This box below was made by Charlene – isn't is UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS!! She used the Oval punch for the Petals and the Scallop Oval punch for the leaves….. just gorgeous!

There's always lots more… but too much to keep posting today. If you are thinking of joining my group of stampers, let me know! You could come to our Stamptogethers too and have fun with us!
Artistic Etchings with the Colour Coach

Have you seen our new Colour Coach?? It is AWESOME! I love to have resources that help me use different colour combinations other than the ones I tend to use all the time.

I had my SparkleDaisy stamptogether this week and we always swap card ideas with each other. I love the stamp set Artistic Etchings and for my swap card, I picked a main colour I hadn't used before – Blushing Bride. Then using the Colour Coach I paired it with Sahara Sand and a little bit of Early Espresso (which is a Must Have Colour!).
For the circular image that is popped up, I stamped it with Blushing Bride and then used my Regal Rose Marker to add extra colour to the outside edges of the rubber BEFORE I stamped it on the paper. I used my 1 3/4" circle punch to punch it out and popped it up with a dimensional. I also added a 1/2 pearl (which we can now buy separately and with adhesive on the back!!) Notice the vertical strip of Sahara Sand cardstock – I used the new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. An easy and inexpensive way to add colour to your cards

So what do you think? I loved the results and loved that I used different colours

- Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch (119275)
- Artistic Etchings (120573)
- Basic Pearls (119247)
- 1 3/4" Circle punch (119850)
